We look forward every year to picking out our Christmas tree. We go to this little farm in Hillsboro called Whispering Hills. The boys searched the barn of precut trees. 
The owners said it wasn't a great year for trees and that most were cleared out over the weekend. There wasn't a whole lot to choose from, except this beautiful 8 1/2 foot fir tree, that was a little more than we wanted to spend. 
But we had both kids excited and ready to go home to decorate a Christmas tree. Shane kept saying, "I don't know if it will even fit in the van." Guess what, it did. And it also fit in our house. The boys decorated it, mainly by putting a Cars oranment on and off the tree. But it was the first time the boys really actively participated in Christmas activities. 
Yes, Will's hair is in the tree. Gotta love that;)

When was this post dated? I am sure you want to scream "WHERE IS THE RAILING!!!!" As far as decorating trees, Tug helped Sam thought it was more fun to watch football!
