You know the saying, "bite off more than you can chew." Well this year has been a year full of biting off more than we can chew. In fact it has felt more like being force fed more than we can chew. However, it is pretty much over! Shane finished out his coaching track season this past Saturday. We have infintetly more time on our hands now and I felt the need to celebrate over a blog post. For those of you who don't know, Shane has been working on grad school for 5 years and is on his last class. He has one more edit on his thesis and he will defend it in July. Then, that will be over! We do see the light at the end of the tunnel on that one...but you have no idea how long we have been stumbling around in the dark looking for that stinking light! So to recap this year has been filled with...

• Shane thesis work
  
• Shane Spanish class every Mon & Wed night
• Shane's first year teaching Physics which meant alot more time boning up on Physics and planning lessons...teachers reuse lessons every year and adding a new class creates a ton of work the first year.
• Karen's first year back to work as a counselor. I loved every minute of it, but was always busy.
• Track

This summer's plans are completely manageable. I am looking forward to manageable and being able to post more. I have lots of stories. You'll be hearing from me soon.
