So Jenny and I were talking the other day about starting up a monthly recipe swap via our blogs. If you feel compelled, post a recipe on your blog or just enjoy the ones we have posted.
Breaded Pork Chops
1/2 cup Bisquick Mix; 12 saltine crackers; 1 tsp seasoned salt; 1/4 tsp pepper;
1 egg; 2 Tbs water; 8 boneless pork chops; 3 Tbs oil
1. In a shallow bowl, mix Bisquick, cracker crumbs, salt, and pepper. In another bowl mix egg and water.
2. Dip pork into egg mixture, then coat with Bisquick misture.
3. In 12 in. skillet, heat oil over med-high heat. Cook 6 min. on one side then flip and cook 6 additional minutes. It is important not to flip the pork chops until the bread has had a chance to crust in the pan (about 5 min), or it will fall apart.
Prep:5 min. Cook: 11 min 8 Servings
This is one of Shane's favorite recipes.
